The Grove is a cloud of dirt clods that hover in space around a central region, each one overgrown with wild and obscene explosions of plant life. The Elven Fleet once used the area to stage attacks on enemy strongholds within the Orrery during the Unhuman Wars. The Grove lacks any major ports or port facilities for traders and few ships bother to stop here due to the danger of becoming entangled in the goblin/elf battles that still sometimes erupt on the islands.
Of course, that doesn’t mean there’s nowhere for goblins to stop; the port of Bragathlaz (Brag’s Rock) services goblin traders and warships as well as outfitting vessels to do battle with the small elvish-controlled stones in the area.
The one force that keeps the goblins in check (the elves have long since lost interest in the Grove as a station, preferring the Thessalian moon of Ionu) is the presence of the Druidic Circle of the Grove, which maintains a minor fleet of 3 liveships and their crews.
